How My Light Is Spent

Alan Harris’s How My Light Is Spent, winner of the Judges Award in 2015, is the latest Bruntwood prize-winning play to have its world première at Manchester Royal Exchange.

Set in Newport, it is an exploration of identity, family, and the joy of finding someone who might just really see you. This two-hander is performed by Welsh actors Rhodri Meilir and Alexandria Riley is directed by Liz Stevenson.

It opens at the Exchange Theatre April 24 before transferring to Sherman Theatre May 16 to 27 and Theatre by the Lake May 31 to June 24.
