Fans Choose The Odyssey Fans of London Bubble have chosen The Odyssey as this year's summer production. As we reported on 29th April, the company invited its fans to become "angels" by investing £20 (£10 concessions) and voting for their choice of play. This would give them a ticket for the production, as well as the chance to watch rehearsals and attend special events. Casting will be announced at the end of May and rehearsals begin on 8th June. Simon Startin - who worked on Metamorphoses for the company in 2006 - will adapt the new version of Homer’s epic. The production will be touring the production throughout July including at the Sydenham Arts Festival. Creative director Jonathan Petherbridge said, "We shall continue to involve our stakeholders as the show evolves. This is going to be a very exciting process, and I am thrilled by the response from so many of our fans." Contributions can still be made via the website www.fanmadetheatre.com.
