Three premières will grace the main stage at Hampstead Theatre this spring.

The world première of Ryan Craig’s Filthy Business will be directed by artistic director Edward Hall and star Sara Kestelman.

This new family comedy is set 1968 in East London and concerns Yetta Solomon and her fight to keep the business in the family and the family in the business—against all the odds.

Filthy Business is to be followed by the world première of Stephen Brown’s Occupational Hazards.

Based on Rory Stewart’s memoir of the same name, this new play will by directed by Simon Godwin.

Stewart is a former diplomat and soldier who in 2003 was posted to govern a province of the newly-liberated Iraq; the book he wrote about his experiences is the subject of this adaptation. In 2010, Stewart was elected as Member of Parliament for Penrith and The Border.

Closing the spring programme is Gloria by Branden Jacob-Jenkins, one of last year's finalists for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

This sharp comic drama is set in the offices of a Manhattan magazine where colleagues fight to be first at the top of the career ladder and sell out to the highest bidder

This UK première will be directed by Michael Longhurst.
