Footballers Wives Star Transfers To Watford

The new series of outrageous television drama Footballers Wives kicks off this week, but if you want to see one of the stars close-up just head along to Watford Palace Theatre until 23rd April.

Julie Legrand, who plays Nurse Dunkley in Footballers Wives, can also be seen in person playing the role of Inge Holbrook in Watford Palace Theatre's new play Flying Under Bridges. Inge, a successful athlete, returns to her home town and meets up with childhood friend Eve. Through a series of extraordinary events, Eve finds herself charged with killing her daughter's fiancé on their wedding day. This witty comedy has been adapted for the stage by Sarah Daniels from the original novel by Sandi Toksvig.

Julie also plays a second role in the play - Lillian, Eve's Torville and Dean obsessed mother, which is slightly less glamorous but involves a hilarious moment where she re-enacts their famous Bolero routine in the family living room!

The cast of Flying Under Bridges also includes Julia Hills (Rona in 2 Point 4 Children), Patricia Gannon, Anthony Kernan, Neil McCaul and Daniel Pirrie.

Flying Under Bridges runs at Watford Palace Theatre until 23rd April. Tickets are available by phoning the Box Office on 01923 225671 or online at www.watfordtheatre.co.uk
