Fogg tours Around the World to Salford

New Vic: Around the World in Eighty Days at The Lowry Credit: Andrew Billington

The New Vic Theatre’s celebrated production of Jules Verne’s Around The World in 80 Days adapted by Laura Eason and directed by Theresa Heskins comes to The Lowry this Christmas from December 5 to January 7.

It first premièred at the New Vic Theatre in 2013 followed by a successful run at the Royal Exchange, Manchester in 2014. It was nominated for both the UK Theatre Awards Best Show for Children and Families and the Manchester Theatre Awards Best Production.

An ensemble cast of eight play more than 125 characters in an imaginative and physically inventive high-spirited escapade including six trains, five boats, four fights, three dances, two circus acts and an elephant.
