The Royal Opera House has announced a free programme of curated online broadcasts, musical masterclasses and cultural insights on Facebook and YouTube.
While productions and events are postponed at the Royal Opera House, it has made available online a number of broadcasts and live recordings, including the following productions, offered on demand and for free via the ROH’s Facebook and YouTube channels, all at 7PM:
- Peter and the Wolf, The Royal Ballet (2010) – 27 March
- Acis and Galatea, The Royal Opera (2009) – 3 April
- Così fan tutte, The Royal Opera (2010) – 10 April
- The Metamorphosis, The Royal Ballet (2013) – 17 April
To see other recent ROH opera and ballet productions, including La traviata and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, audiences can sign up for a free 30-day trial on arts streaming service Marquee TV.
ROH content can also be found on radio, TV and online through the venue's ongoing partnership with the BBC. Mayerling, Pappano's Greatest Arias and Darcey Bussell: Looking for Margot are all available on BBC iPlayer and Beethoven's Fidelio is scheduled to be broadcast on Radio 3 at 6:30PM on Saturday 28 March.
