The Dukes presents Blackout
Aladdin is The Dukes

The Dukes new homegrown season in Lancaster will shed light on a recent North Lancashire disaster and carry audiences away with a classic fairytale.

Blackout is a new play by Sarah McDonald-Hughes, inspired by true testimony from some of the 100,000 people who lived through a 48-hour power cut across Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth caused by Storm Desmond in December 2015.

Meanwhile, the venue’s new artistic director, Sarah Punshon, will make her debut at the Lancaster theatre with Aladdin which runs from November 24 to January 6.
