From Page To Stage 2015

The call is out for submissions for the 2015 From Page To Stage season which this year will take place at The Tristan Bates Theatre.

Dedicated to showcasing new British musical work in development, this year's season will include a fully staged production of a new British musical which will headline the season, showcases of musicals in early development and three rehearsed readings for pieces with a completed score and book.

Producer Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment said, “I am absolutely thrilled to confirm that the From Page To Stage season of new musical theatre will be back for a third year—and this time in the heart of the West End.

"Attendance at last year’s event was up from 2013 and we received over 150 new pieces of musical theatre to choose from. We are delighted to once again be supporting writers of new musical theatre at different stages of their works’ journey, whilst also cultivating new audiences, by allowing them to be part of these new works from the beginning."

All submissions must be in English and emailed with fully notated piano/vocal scores and sample MP3s. Shows which have had a full-scale production, have a cast size greater than eight or are jukebox musicals are not eligible.

Artists wishing to participate in the 2015 From Page To Stage may submit their work until 1 June and should check online for the full application requirements.
