Greater Manchester Fringe returns July 1-31 with Guy, a new gay musical.

From the creators of 2017's The Marriage of Kim K, this new musical runs on July 11 and 13 at 53two and is set Manchester's city centre including Canal Street on Pride, Pure Gym, Kettle Bell in Ancoats and Hope Mill Theatre.

This electronic-pop musical is about modern masculinity, body image, the hook-ups and downs of dating in the 21st century and unspoken prejudices.

Also in GM Fringe, Doctor Clive Jackson, lead singer of Dr and the Medics, will be appearing in Poezest, Mike Bennett's comic interpretation of Edgar Allen Poe's works, from July 18 to 21 at The Peer Hat in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Former Brookside and Coronation Street star Sue Jenkins will be directing two plays this year: From Heaven to Hell by Danny Clifford on July 9 and 14 at Salford Arts Theatre and Peg & Bessie from July 18 to 21 at 53two.
