Preston TringeIt's the final countdown if you want to be a part of the Preston Tringe 2012. It's your chance to be a part of one of the country's fastest-growing theatre festivals, now in its fourth year.

This year it also becomes part of the Preston Guild celebrations, and offers performers the chance to play to local audiences across the city. A large number of acts have already registered from across the region and beyond.

Acts will also have the opportunity to be involved in the Preston Guild Light Night, with events taking place in unusual venues usually closed in the evenings.

Based in a number of city centre venues, the Preston Tringe Festival brings a variety of performances to the city in a fun, original and exciting way. With acts ranging from theatre and comedy to magic, music and poetry, there will be something for everyone from performers bringing new material to the city.

Applications for this open-access festival are still welcome from all acts from all sections of the community, regardless of experience. Application forms are available online, but must be submitted by Friday May 11.

A full programme of events will be released in June. Further details of confirmed acts are available online at www.prestontringe.co.uk, with new acts updated regularly.
