Peter Gill Season at Riverside Studios Peter Gill's first two plays, The Sleepers Den (1965) and Over Gardens Out (1969), are to be revived by Adam Spreadbury-Maher and Ben Cooper for Good Night Out at Hammersmith's Riverside Studios from 28th September to 16th October and 19th October to 6th November respectively. A key figure in British theatre for over fifty years, Peter Gill founded the Riverside Studios and the Royal National Theatre Studio. His many plays and adaptations have been performed at venues including The Royal Court, the National Theatre, Sheffield Crucible and Theatre Royal Bath. Spreadbury-Maher, who directed the critically acclaimed production of Gill's The York Realist at Riverside last year, returns to direct The Sleepers Den and Sam Brown will direct Over Gardens Out.
