Get Into London Theatre 2004

Get Into London Theatre, the annual promotion from London Mayor Ken Linginstone's office and the Society of London Theatre, was launched this monring by the Mayor, Lee Evans (Endgame and The Producers) and Allyson Hannigan (When Harry Met Sally).

There will be discounts on tickets for over 70 shows, not only in the West End but as far afield as Greenwich, Stratford East and Wimbledon. Tickets (for selected performances) will sold at £10, £15, £20 and £25 and will be available until Sunday 28th March, although they must be booked by 8pm on 27th February.

Many hotels and restaurants are also doing special deals, with some three star hotels being £25 a night and meals available from £10 to £15.

“From cutting edge drama to smash hit musicals, London’s theatre is second to none in terms of variety and quality, and the Totally London ‘Get Into London Theatre’ promotion offers all the excitement and glamour of the London theatre scene at unmissable prices,” said Ken Livingstone. “The hotel deals for those who are planning to come to London for a short break are better than ever this year, but with a number of smaller local theatres taking part there’s also plenty on offer for those Londoners who want a night out closer to home. There’s something for everyone in this promotion, so get out and enjoy your capital!”
