Wolverhampton Grand is to undergo its biggest refurbishment to date, including a complete renovation of the front-of-house areas on all three levels of the building.
Five booths will be created on the dress-circle level as well as two suites in which audiences can relax before shows and during intervals.
The theatre is asking the public to submit suggestions for the names of the booths and the suites. The names should be appropriate to the world of theatre, such as significant performers, shows or songs. They should be submitted via the Wolverhampton Grand web site.
Closing date is Sunday 8 May. A shortlist will be drawn up and voting will open on the Grand web site from Monday 16 May until Sunday 29 May. The winning names will be revealed in June.
The refurbishment will start in July and will be take seven weeks. The reopening will be on Saturday 10 September and those who submit winning names will be invited.
