Forming part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals and now in its fifth year, Greenwich Dances sees local people perform alongside world-class artists in and around the royal borough.

From Friday 22 until Saturday 30 May 2015, Greenwich Dance will host a collection of dance performances, free outdoor events and opportunities to get involved.

Austrian company Willi Dorner presents fitting on Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May. A free bank holiday outdoor performance, it invites the audience to interpret the urban landscape with fresh eyes.

Literally 'fitting' themselves into a multitude of nooks and crannies, the performers investigate relationships between the city and the body as they interact with their surroundings in completely unexpected ways. Start location outside Greenwich Dance, The Borough Hall.

You can catch Luca Silvestrini’s Protein and their acclaimed production of Border Tales at Greenwich Dance on Friday 22 May and Saturday 23 May.

Greenwich Dance’s Family Cabaret Uncovered is at St Alfege Park on Monday 25 May with a variety of family-friendly, bite-sized dance, music and circus performances at a free outdoor event.

Lila Dance rounds off Greenwich Dances on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May with its intimate dance experience The Deluge.

Greenwich Dance is also offering Greenwich residents the chance to try something new, by offering a limited number of £1 tickets to Border Tales and The Deluge for those who have not been to a Greenwich Dance event before. Contact them on 020 8293 9741 for more information.
