London's Battersea Arts Centre is hosting a fundraiser on Monday to support the appeal set up for people affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June.
Daniel Kitson is to host the evening of entertainment from top-line performers including Jeremy Hardy, Josie Long, Heydon Prowse, Mark Thomas and Imran Yusuf, with more acts to be confirmed.
Mark Thomas said, "like every Londoner, I am shocked, sad and angry about the horrific fire at Grenfell Tower. But it is not enough to feel these things, we need to support those in need. Organising a fundraiser is the least we can do to help our fellow Londoners.
"After the fire at Battersea Arts Centre and the support people gave, it is fitting that the organisation should now be hosting an event to help others."
All proceeds from the event will go to the Grenfell Tower Appeal, coordinated by the Kensington & Chelsea Foundation. Those who are unable to attend on Monday can support the appeal online.
Grenfell Tower Fundraiser is at 7:30PM on 19 June 2017 at Battersea Arts Centre, box office 0207 223 2223.
