Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical is to play for the Christmas 2019 season at The Lowry.
Featuring songs "You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas", Max the Dog narrates the show as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small", decides to steal Christmas away from Holiday-loving Whos.
The show broke box office records for two consecutive years on Broadway. The announcement of the tour of the musical comes as a new movie of The Grinch—starring the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch and Angela Lansbury—reaches a new generation at cinemas.
The musical runs from December 10 to January 5.
