The Guildford Shakespeare Company begins its outdoor summer season in Guildford’s Castle Gardens from 14 to 30 June and, beneath a magnificent oak tree, presents Shakespeare’s domestic comedy The Merry Wives of Windsor.
Three graduating students from the Guildford School of Acting will join the company for the summer under an apprenticeship scheme, helping them achieve a first step on their career ladder.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream will follow in July.
