Autumn and Winter in Hammersmith

The Lyric Hammersmith has announced its season from September 2007 to February 2008. Amongst the highlights are:

  • Artistic Director, David Farr joins forces with the theatre company Filter and Radiohead's Live Performance Creative Designer Andi Watson to present the premiere of Water
  • The National Theatre of Scotland's director John Tiffany directs The Bacchae starring Alan Cumming
  • For its Christmas show, the Lyric joins forces with Told By An Idiot's Paul Hunter to present the classic fairytale, Beauty and the Beast
  • Rupert Goold directs Simon Schama's bestseller, Rough Crossings
  • Poet Carol Ann Duffy teams up with Told By An Idiot to present a new twist to the word's most notorious lover - Casanova
