Liverpool-based Tmesis Theatre launches Happy Hour at the city’s Unity Theatre for three nights in October before embarking on a 14-date UK tour.
Following a successful national tour in 2015 of That’s Amore, the company combines its trademark physicality with humour, music, and text from long-term collaborator Chris Fittock to create a comedy exploring a 21st century obsession with happiness and success.
Happy Hour opens in Liverpool on October 5, followed by dates in St Mary’s Creative Space, Chester, The Atkinson, Southport and The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.
In November, the tour moves onto Jacksons Lane, London, The John Moore Theatre, King’s School, Worcester, Roxburgh Theatre, Stowe School, Bucks and The Lowry, Salford Quays, before finishing at Coronation Hall, Ulverston. More dates are being planned for 2017.
