The annual, free B-SIDE Hip-Hop Festival is to return to Birmingham after a two-year absence.

In 2020, it was staged online due to the pandemic and in 2021, it took place in Coventry as part of the City of Culture festival.

The B-SIDE Hip-Hop Festival will be presented in venues including the city’s Hippodrome and the Bullring and Grand Central shopping centre.

Graham Callister, director of festivals at the Hippodrome, said, “we’re delighted to be working with brilliant partners to deliver a full week of celebrations packed with workshops, graffiti trails and opportunities to see some of the best international hip-hop dancers at the Hippodrome and across the city.”

The festival will take place from Saturday 11 until Sunday 19 June. Full listings are available at the Birmingham Hippodrome web site.
