Hiraeth to tour Wales

A tour is underway of Hiraeth following its sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Hiraeth will tour to venues and rural village halls across Wales with its moving story of a modern young woman who leaves behind a three-hundred-year-old farming dynasty for a life in London.

The play is in Welsh and employs one woman’s struggle to escape and let go to explore the decline of Welsh identity and tradition.

Hiraeth is created by Jesse Briton, Buddug James Jones, Max Mackintosh and is performed by Buddug James Jones and Max Mackintosh.
