Brits Star at International Emmys
British television programmes have won seven awards at the International
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' International Emmy Awards,
which recognise TV programmes made outside the US:
Best Comedy
Little Britain Abroad
Best Actor
Jim Broadbent for The Street, who tied with Dutch actor, Pierre
Bokma for his performance as Peter van der Laan in the television
movie The Chosen One
Best Drama Series
The Street
Best TV Movie
Death of a President
Best Documentary
The Secret Life of a Manic Depressive (Stephen Fry)
Best Non-Scripted or Reality Entertainment
How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?
Best Arts Programming
