Jimmy Osmond, Meera Syal, Matt Slack, Jaymi Hensley, the Timbuktu Tumblers and Sascha Williams will sail into Birmingham Hippodrome for its 2018 panto Peter Pan.
Osmond will play Captain Hook while Syal makes her panto debut as the Magical Mermaid. Matt Slack will play Smee in his sixth consecutive Hippodrome panto, Jaymi Hensley of boy band Union J takes the title role, acrobatic troupe the Timbuktu Tumblers become the Neverlanders and stuntman Williams plays the drunken pirate.
Michael Harrison directs for the ninth year and said, “we’re delighted once again to have assembled such a stellar line-up for this year’s production of Peter Pan, the first time the title has been staged here for 13 years.
“We’re busy planning all sorts of surprises for the show and we’re extremely excited to be presenting a production that will be packed full of brilliant song and dance, hilarious comedy and dazzling special effects.”
Peter Pan will run at the Hippodrome from Wednesday 19 December until Sunday 27 January 2019.
