Peter Pan at Opera House, Manchester

Manchester Opera House has announced the full principal cast for this Christmas season’s all-new pantomime, Peter Pan, which runs from December 8 to January 13.

As already announced, David Hasselhoff, best known for the iconic roles of Michael Knight in Knight Rider and Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch, will be starring as the ultimate ‘boo hiss’ baddie Captain Hook.

Joining him as the loveable Smee will be Tam Ryan, back by public demand for the third consecutive year following his hugely popular performance as Muddles in Snow White and Buttons in last year’s Cinderella.

Taking the role of the boy who never grew up is Amy Bird, who appeared as Wendy alongside The Hoff in Peter Pan in Wimbledon in 2010.

Wendy will be played by West End actress Lorna Want while Corrie favourite Eric Potts has once again taken writing duties.
