Stoke’s Regent Theatre has disclosed that panto duo Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson will return at Christmas 2015.

Peter Pan will mark Wilkes’s tenth year in panto at the Regent. He will play Smee while Patterson will play Captain Hook. In 2014 both appeared in Dick Whittington.

Wilkes says, “I can’t wait to come back to the Regent Theatre for the 2015 panto. We haven’t appeared in Peter Pan before so it’s going to be a new show with lots of surprises for everyone.

“I love coming home to Stoke during Christmas—not only are the audiences amazing, and the theatre is like my second home, but to be able to work with my mate Christian again is great because we have as much fun in the panto as the audience do watching it. This year is special as it’s my tenth panto at the Regent, so it’s going to be even bigger and better than before.”

Peter Pan will be produced by First Family Entertainment which has produced past pantos including Aladdin, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Dick Whittington.

Peter Pan will be at the Regent Theatre from Friday 4 December until Sunday 3 January 2016.
