The Society for Theatre Research has announced the judging panel for the next Theatre Book Prize.

Representing the theatre profession will be well-known stage and TV actress Penelope Keith, best known for her roles as Margo Leadbetter in The Good Life and Audrey Fforbes-Hamilton in To The Manor Born. Henry Hitchings from the Evening Standard will represent theatre critics, and representing theatre academia will be Professor Gavin Henderson, Principal of Central School of Speech and Drama.

Once again, the panel will be chaired by the BTG's own Howard Loxton, who represents the Society for Theatre Research.

The prize will look at books of original research into British or British-related theatre published in 2012 other than playtexts and studies of drama as literature.
