Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake has a programme of events for young theatregoers from February until April.
From live music, puppetry and circus skills to stunts, interactive theatre and street dancing, there’s something to suit all ages.
The half term week kicks off with The Gingerbread Man, in the Main House February 20 and 21 and suitable for ages 3 to 10.
Sourpuss visits the Studio February 21-22 and the following day there’s Brainiac Live!, for inquisitive ones aged 6+ who love experimenting.
Kids and families can take part in Keswick Music Society’s family concert, Giddy Goat, on February 17 in the Main House.
On March 23, children’s theatre company, TurnAround Dance Theatre stages The Thief, the Fox & the Phoenix which features circus, dance, singing and storytelling.
Finally, new British musical In the Willows, based on the classic Wind in the Willows, is hip-hopping to the main stage during the spring holidays from April 2 to 6.
