Half A Sixpence

The cast of the Chichester Festival revival of the musical Half A Sixpence has been announced.

Leading the cast as Arthur Kipps and Ann Pornick will be Charlie Stemp and Devon-Elise Johnson, who have both recently completed the international tour of Mamma Mia!. Bryan Dick, who was to have played Kipps, will continue in Hobson's Choice in the West End, due to "a scheduling conflict".

Ian Bartholomew will join them as Chitterlow, Emma Williams will play Helen Walsingham and Vivien Parry will be Mrs Walsingham.

The revival will feature a new book by Julian Fellowes, with David Heneker's original songs supplemented by new ones written by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Rachel Kavanaugh directs.

Half A Sixpence will run at the Festival Theatre, Chichester from 14 July to 3 September.
