Kneehigh at BAC Cornish touring company Kneehigh Theatre is to bring one of their village hall tours to London for the first time in April when they present Wagstaffe the Wind-Up Boy at BAC from Tuesday 12th to Sunday 17th. It is a story about a boy so bad his parents run away from home to join the circus. Home alone, Wagstaffe slobs about in teenage bliss until the day he gets in the way of a truck. By chance, and thanks to a good doctor, Wagstaffe survives and is rebuilt with bizarre modifications. The all-new Wagstaffe becomes the most unlikely of superheroes with the most ridiculous of powers. Naughty, bizarre and funny, Wagstaffe is the only show this year starring a clockwork boy and an articulated lorry! Known nationally for major touring shows such as The Red Shoes, The Wooden Frock, The Bacchae and Tristan and Yseult which will be at the National Theatre from 4th April to 7th June, Kneehigh also tours village and church halls, and schools throughout Cornwall. Wagstaffe began its tour in January and continues until 9th April. The BAC performances start at 8.00 and tickets are £6.50 to £14.75, with Tuesday being a "Pay What You Can" night. The Cornish Tour
