Korea move for Curve production of Legally Blonde

The Leicester Curve production of Legally Blonde the Musical is to play in South Korea as part of the Deagu International Music Festival.

Directed by Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster, Legally Blonde plays in Leicester until 14 May and then runs at Deagu Opera House from 25 June until 2 July.

Foster and Curve chief executive Chris Stafford said, “hot on the heels of opening our production of The Witches in Hong Kong, we’re thrilled this new production of Legally Blonde will head to South Korea in June.

“In the last 12 months, we’ve grown our capacity for touring work significantly and are delighted that audiences from across the globe will be able to enjoy our production of Legally Blonde—flying the flag for both Curve and Leicester on an international stage.”

The cast of Legally Blonde includes Lucie Jones as Elle Woods, Tupele Dorgu as Paulette, Ian Kelsey as Callahan, Jon Robyns as Emmett, Danny Mac as Warner, Natalie Hope as Brooke, Phoebe Street as Vivienne and Francesca Hoffman as Margot.

The production team is designer Matthew Wright, choreographer Nick Winston, orchestrator Sarah Travis, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Tom Marshall, casting director Kay Magson and musical director Bob Broad.
