Dateline: 23rd January, 2008 Lemon Tree Saved Aberdeen's Lemon Tree, which went into liquidation at the beginning of December, has been saved. The city council is to hand over the running of the financially troubled arts centre to Aberdeen Performing Arts, which already runs the Music Hall, Aberdeen Box Office and His Majestys Theatre. It will now control all the performing arts venues in the city. APA's chief executive Duncan Hendry said, "We aim to restore the Lemon Tree as a centre for cutting edge drama, theatre, comedy and music, with the focus on drama and dance upstairs and on a wide range of music and comedy downstairs."
Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
