The producers of hit musical Let It Be have announced a new national tour for 2016 visiting 21 theatres across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The confirmed tour opens at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on January 11 and concludes on June 25 at the New Theatre in Oxford.
The tour will also take in Southampton, Bromley, Bath, Torquay, Truro, Sheffield, Manchester, New Wimbledon, Dublin, Woking, Blackpool, York, Swansea, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Aylesbury, Darlington, Canterbury and Bristol, with more dates to be announced.
Let It Be celebrates the music of the Beatles in a concert charting the band’s rise from humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.
The show continues in Liverpool until November 14. It opened to coincide with what would have been John Lennon’s 75th birthday.
