Mackintosh lifeline for King's Head

The King's Head Theatre, which has had its funding cut by the London Arts Board and the London Boroughs Grants Committee, has been given £5000 by the Cameron Mackintosh Foundation, which will allow it to stay open until the summer.

More Warrior nominations

The BBC's award-winning drama Warriors, having recently won the Royal Television Society trophy for Best Single Drama, has been nominated for two more awards: from the Broadcasting Press Guild and the Voice of the Listener and Viewer.

The two-part series will air on BBC America shortly.

Royal on the mend?

Norwich Theatre Royal expects to have cleared its debts by the end of next month, its CEO Peter Wilson has said. If end-of-year figures confirm this, the theatre will have clkeared a possible six-figure deficit in less than a year.
