Joan Collins returns to the West End
Joan Collins is to return to the West End stage after an absence of elevent years in a production of Ken Ludwig's Moon Over Buffalo. He last appearance was in Private Lives in 1990.

Servant returns
The RSC's productionn of Lee Hall's version of The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni is to play at the Albery from 18th July to 22nd September. This will be its second West End outing this year, having finished a three month run at the New Ambassadors in February.

Moyet joins Chicago cast
Singer Alison Moyet joins the cast of Chicago at the Adelphi on 13th August. She will play prison warder Mama Morton for thirteen wees.

The Voice of Musical Theatre 2000 joins Les Mis
Laura-Michelle Kelly, who won the Voice of Musical Theatre 2000 competition in NOvember of last year, joins the cast of Les Miserables at the Palace from tomorrow (Monday, 2nd July). She has previously played Beauty in Beauty and the Beast and Swallow in Whistle Down the Wind.

Also joining the cast will be Jody Crosier, who will play Marius. He has previously appeared in Miss Saigon, Martin Guerre and Napoleon.

New Godber play premieres in Hull
Hull Truck is to premiere John Godber's latest play Our House from 5th to 28th July.

Pet Shop Boys musical extends
Closer to Heaven, the musical from pop group Pet Shop Boys, has extended it run at the Arts Theatre to 2nd February 2001. It was previously booking until 16th September.

House/Garden in Northampton
Alan Ayckbourn's twin plays House/Garden are playing simultaneously at the Derngate and Royal Theatres in Northampton. They opened on Friday, 29th June and run until 14th July.

Little Foxes casting
Penelope Wilton is to play the lead in the Donmar Warehouse production of Lilian Hellman's Little Foxes, which is due to open on 4th October.

One-off Albee at RNT
The National Theatre is to present a one-off platform performance of Edward Albee's first play, The Zoo Story. Perfomed by Christopher Staines and Paul Bazely (who are currently playing Rosencrantz and Gildenstern in the RNT's Hamlet), it will be in the Cottesloe at 6pm on Friday, 6th July.

The National is currently presenting a double bill of Albee's Finding the Sun and Marriage Play, in rep in the Cottesloe until 5th September.
