Another Country returns
The first play at the newly re-furbished Arts Theatre in Great Newport St will be Julian Mitchell's 1981 hit Another Country, which won that year's Society of West End Theatre (SWT) Play of the Year award. (The SWET awrds are now the Oliviers.) It opens on 27th September and is currently previewing.
The Lion King extends again
On 1st October Disney's The Lion King will start a new booking period, from 29th May to 16th September 2001.
Free Masterclasses
The Theatre Royal Haymarket is running two free masterclasses for young people in October. On the third RSC actor Samuel West appears, and on the fifth Henry Goodman.
