Mentoring: Little Earthquake is looking for “adventurous, self-motivated” companies

Walsall-based Little Earthquake is starting a mentoring scheme for new and emerging theatre companies.

The scheme “will focus on the nuts, bolts and everyday logistics of building a sustainable and resilient arts organisation”.

Little Earthquake's co-directors Gareth Nicholls and Philip Holyman will mentor two theatre companies over the course of a year. The mentoring will be offered free. The company was awarded Arts Council funding in November 2016 for the programme.

Little Earthquake was set up in 2005. It is an associate company at mac Birmingham and aims to “create experiences that surprise, entertain, inspire and intrigue”.

It is looking for theatre companies who are “adventurous, self-motivated and have a clear focus on producing high-quality work and experiences for audiences”.

Deadline for applications is Friday 3 March. Further information is available at the Little Earthquake web site.
