Unlimited Magic?

Unlimited Theatre (See Philip Fisher's interview with them) open their latest show at the Crucible Studio in Sheffield from Wednesday 21st - Saturday 31st May (matinees Thursday 29th and Saturday 31st).

The show - Magic? - is, they tell us, is a cross between Fraggle Rock without the puppets (there's a lighthouse in it) and The Perfect Storm (it rains a lot). Except it's not rubbish, like The Perfect Storm. Rather it's great, like Fraggle Rock. It's a show about wanting to believe in the possibility of things which absolutely refuse to be explained or rationalised or quantified or measured, the things that turn your day extraordinary. It's about isolation, identity and the rediscovery of lost wonder. It's about being English, being a weather girl, being a stranger and being unable to tell people that you love them. It's funny, smart, it looks great and maybe, just maybe...it might be magic!

And once again we've teamed up with the very excellent Mr. Chris Goode (who we made Neutrino with). Magic? is presented in association with Sheffield Theatres as part of their Sheffield Firsts season.
