Make Me a Song in the West End A cast of West End singers is to star in the British premiere of the Off-Broadway hit, Make Me A Song, which celebrates the songs of William Finn. It will open in the West End at the New Players Theatre from 6th March (previes from 3rd) to 6th April. Finn won Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score for the musical Falsettos in 1992 and his latest Broadway musical is the Tony-nominated The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His other shows are Romance in Hard Times, the song cycle Elegies and the yet-to-be-produced The Royal Family of Broadway. Make Me a Song will star Louise Dearman, Frances Ruffelle, Gareth Snook, Simon Thomas and Ian H Watkins (formerly of pop group Steps). It will be directed by Andrew MacBean.
