Welfare State International are delighted to welcome Bill who will lead this non-residential course in European traditional mask making and the comic grotesque. The course will cover design fundamentals, the creation of latex mache masks, and explore the movement and possibilities of mask in performance.

The weekend will be of particular interest to professionals interested or involved in carnival, costume or performance, and will draw on local facial types for inspiration in reference to WSI's Longline project about Morecambe Bay.

This course is expected to be popular so early booking is advised.
