Matthew Kelly heads the Bennet family at Regent's Park

Casting has been announced for the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, adapted for the stage by Simon Reade.

The cast will feature Matthew Kelly as Mr Bennet, Tafline Steen as Elizabeth Bennet, Benjamin Dilloway as Mr Darcy and Doña Croll as Lady Catherine De Bourgh.

Also appearing will be Hollie Edwin as Jane Bennet, Mari Izzard as Lydia Bennet, Leigh Quinn as Mary Bennet and Annabel De Bourgh, Anna Crichlow as Kitty Bennet and Georgiana Darcy, Jordan Mifsúd as Mr Bingley, Steven Meo as Mr Collins, Daniel Abbott as Mr Wickham, Kirsty Rider as Caroline Bingley, Francesca Bailey as Charlotte Lucas, Charlotte Palmer as Mrs Gardiner and Mark Rawlings as Sir William Lucas.

The production returns to Regent's Park to conclude the summer season after a successful run in 2013. It will then go on to tour the UK, opening at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley then going on to Norwich, Cambridge, Salford, Leicester, Woking, Truro, Birmingham and Richmond. In 2017, it will visit Bath, High Wycombe, Canterbury, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Cardiff.

The production will run at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from 2 to 17 September 2016.
