Melody sings tribute to Kander and Ebb

Melody La Rouge

Diva-chanteuse Melody La Rouge performs a tribute to Kander and Ebb in Kiss of the Red Menace, which stops off at Buxton Fringe before a two-week run in Edinburgh and a one-off performance in London in September.

Kander and Ebb wrote musicals including Cabaret, Chicago, Flora the Red Menace and Kiss of the Spiderwoman.

Kiss of the Red Menace premièred at Brighton Fringe in 2011. After numerous rewrites it was nominated for best solo vocal music show at Buxton last year.

Melody La Rouge is singer and actress Kerry Jo Hodgkin. She has sung everywhere from Ronnie Scott's in London to BB King's in New York.

She will sing Kiss of the Red Menace at The Railway, The Signal Room, Bridge Street, Buxton from Sunday until Tuesday, 14 to 16 July at 8:30PM.
