No Home for Me and My Girl

The planned production of Me and My Girl has been postponed indefinitely as the theatre it was to go into, the New London, is no longer available. The producers, Noel Gay Productions, had planned to move into the New London after the current production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat finished on 28th February.

However the producer of Joseph, Bill Kenwright, has announced that the show will now run into 2005.

The Me and My Girl creative team in in place and auditions have begun but now a new home must be found.

This is not an unheard-of situation in the West End. It is often the case that planning for a production has to get underway before a venue is secured.
