West Midlands-based BOLDtext Playwrights returns to The Door at Birmingham REP with Selfies, “a series of self-portraits exposing what it’s really like to be a working writer in the region today”, on Monday.

Inspired by conversations with children, Wigglegiggle, which “builds on substantial research around how music and rhythm can develop listening and language skills of three- to five-year-olds”, should enchant youngsters in the Neville Studio at Nottingham Playhouse from Tuesday until Saturday 3 January.
