Minghella Radio Season BBC Radio is to pay tribute to Anthony Minghella who died on 18th March (see our obituary) with a season of his work on Radios 3 and 4. First will be the radio play Cigarettes and Chocolate, starring Juliet Stevenson and Bill Nighy. It will be broadcast on 3rd May on Radio 4, along with a repeat of With Great Pleasure (1994) in which Minghella discusses the four pieces of literature which most inspire him. A week later, on 10th May at 2.30pm, Radio 4 will broadcast Two Planks and a Passion and on the same day Radio 3 will broadcast two episodes of Works in Progress, a series of short programmes recorded by Minghella in February 2000. The five-minute episodes will be aired at 8.30 and will be followed, at 8.40, by Hang Up, Minghella's 1987 radio drama starring Anton Lesser and Juliet Stevenson.
