More Sunderland Empire panto casting

Another cast member has been announced for Sunderland Empire’s 2017 panto, Jack and the Beanstalk. Joining the already announced Bill Ward, who plays the Giant’s henchman Fleshcreep, will be Janine Duvitski as the Vegetable Fairy.

Currently playing Jaqueline Stewart in Benidorm, she has a long list of TV credits: from Pippa Trench, Victor Meldrew’s mild-mannered neighbour in BBC’s One Foot In The Grave, to appearances on CBeebies in Old Jack’s Boat as Emily Scuttlebutt through to Hospital People, Still Open All Hours, Boy Meets Girl, Houdini and Doyle, Doctor Thorne, Crackanory, Little Dorrit, Worst Week of your Life, Foyle’s War, Mrs Bradley Mysteries, Vanity Fair, Midsomer Murders, Waiting for God, Abigail’s Party, Grown Ups, Blue Remembered Hills and Diane.

Her theatre credits include On The Town (English National Opera), The Coast of Utopia, The Relapse, The Remembrance of Things Past, Le Bourgois Gentilhomme, Strider, You Can Take It With You (National Theatre), Aunt Dan and Lemon (Almeida Theatre), Cloud Nine, The Seagull, The Provoked Wife, (Old Vic), The Forest, Love Girl and the Innocent, As You Like It, La Ronde, Hansel and Gretel (Royal Shakespeare Company), As You Like It, Charlie’s Aunt (Young Vic) and Uncle Vanya (Sheffield Crucible).

Jack and the Beanstalk runs from 15 December 2017 to 7 January 2018.
