More Poppins Casting News

Three more of the major characters in the forthcoming stage version of Mary Poppins have been cast: Gavin Lee (Peggy Sue Got Married and A Saint She Ain't) will play the Dick Van Dyke part, Bert, and David Haig will play Mr Banks. Rosemary Ashe (Witches of Eastwick) will play Mrs Andrews, a part which was not in the film.

It has already been announced that Laura Michelle Kelly will play Mary Poppins.

The show opens its pre-London run at the Bristol Hippodrome on 18th September (previews from 15th), closing on 6th November, before transferring to the Prince Edward on 15th December.
