Theatre by the Lake in Keswick welcomes back comedy duo LipService Theatre on February 8 and 9 with its genre-bending show Mr Darcy Loses the Plot.

On the same nights in the Studio, it will also be presenting up-and-coming playwright and singer/songwriter Lizzie Nunnery’s production Narvik.

Mr Darcy Loses the Plot sees LipService turn its attention to the world of Jane Austen—taking apart her most renowned novels and creating something silly.

Narvik is a piece that fuses playwriting and folk music to follow the story of Jim and Else’s war-torn relationship during World War II and was inspired by the real-life experiences of Nunnery’s grandfather (you can hear her speak about the play on the BTG podcast).
