Youth Theatre Workshop Weekend

National Association of Youth Theatres @ York Theatre Royal Workshop Weekend (11th - 13th March) is NAYT's annual national training, networking and development event. Workshop Weekend 2005 is your opportunity to meet fellow professionals in a highly supportive environment, gain a whole range of new skills and share some of yours, learn new approaches and reinvigorate your thinking and practice. WW2005 brings together an astonishing mix of youth theatre practitioners, visiting artists, education officers, youth workers
and senior youth theatre members from right across the country. Workshops and skills sharing sessions are delivered across a diversity of areas and a range of levels, so no matter who you are, your experience or specialism, there will be many things you can be part of and much to take away with you.

Workshop Weekend is for anyone who wants to experience what youth theatre can do for young people, what youth theatre can do for you, and what it can do for the wider creative industries and beyond. WW2005 will be a particularly special event as it marks the first Workshop Weekend for NAYT as it moves into its new role as the principle development agency for youth theatre practice in England. Please join with us to launch our new manifesto and to collectively plan for what we hope will be a very happy future.
