Four writing teams are to perform their ideas for a new musical so that the Northamptonshire public can decide which one should go into development.
The four teams have been working on their ideas since January. The brief was developed by Perfect Pitch—the national company commissioned by Made In Corby and funded by the Arts Council—and the Corby community.
The ideas will be performed at The Core at Corby Cube on Saturday 9 May starting at 2:30PM. The musical will be staged at The Core in October 2016.
Perfect Pitch director Andy Barnes said, “this will be an exciting event. We’re inviting the people of Corby to come along to see what’s been developed by the writing teams so far and to tell us which of the four ideas they would like to see become a full musical.”
