Celebrating the 20th anniversary of its UK debut, the award-winning Slava’s Snowshow is to start a new UK tour at Birmingham Hippodrome.

Described as a “stunning visual spectacle”, Slava’s Snowshow is performed by a company of clowns led by Slava Polunin, artistic director of St Petersburg Circus.

It won an Olivier Award for best entertainment during its run at the Old Vic in 1998. The show’s popularity overseas has led to it being performed in 120 cities in 30 countries to more than 3,000,000 people.

Slava’s Snowshow opens at Birmingham Hippodrome on 12 November and then visits Woking, Bath, Edinburgh and Manchester. It returns to London’s Southbank Centre for a fourth consecutive Christmas from 17 December until 5 January.
